Decades of Denied Bail and the Cry for Ayurvedic Healing

Bharat… is revered for its spiritual heritage and Ayurvedic wisdom. In the same nation, the prolonged incarceration of a world-famous saint is a glaring paradox. Ironically, the very person whose presence has imbued the lives of even the most degenerate individuals with control, sobriety, character, and divinity is now confined due to heinous allegations like rape against him. This tarnishes the image of Bharat on the world stage. Despite no substantial evidence to back the charges against him, the saint has been denied bail for over 11 years. Advocates for his release are not just calling for justice in the courtroom but are also pushing for his right to receive traditional Ayurvedic treatment, given the adverse effects of prolonged allopathic medication on his health.

Do you know who is the famous personality of India?

Yes, that personality is Saint Shri Asharamji Bapu!

The only saint in the world who was not granted parole or bail for even a single day, let alone an hour, for 11.5 years after being falsely accused!

Sant Shri Asharamji Bapu: A Life Dedicated to Service

Renowned for his contributions to spiritual and societal upliftment, Bapuji’s initiatives span across nurturing young minds in Bal Sanskar Kendras and Gurukuls, preventing ethical degradation through various youth and women’s forums, and promoting national and cultural values through global festivals like Tulsi Pujan Diwas and Parents Worship Day. Despite his benevolent impact, he faces severe allegations and a life sentence, raising questions about the fairness of his trial.

Legal Battles and Health Tribulations

The judiciary’s stance on Bapuji’s case, despite acknowledging the lack of direct evidence, has resulted in two lifetime imprisonment sentences. As a result, there has been outrage among the public about this injustice, as this verdict not only depicts injustice but also a violation of human rights. It is truly baffling that based on the same testimonies, the other co-accused are acquitted while Bapuji is sentenced to life imprisonment. Does this not expose the gravest injustice done to a patriot, a world well-wisher, an elderly, and an unwell saint?

A Chronology of Health Decline

Sant Shri Asharamji Bapu’s health has progressively deteriorated since his imprisonment in 2013, marked by a series of serious ailments:

2013: uncontrollable Trigeminal Neuralgia

2015: Development of Prostatic Hyperplasia, Grade 4 Knee Arthritis, and Cervical Hypothyroidism.

2016: Onset of Prostatitis, Coronary Artery Disease, and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

February 2021: Acute Coronary Syndrome, Anemia, Cystitis, and Mild Hepatic Steatosis.

May 2021: COVID-19 infection, continuous blood loss in the small intestine, leading to hospitalization at AIIMS and MDM.

June 2021: Conditions of Hydronephrosis and Hyponatremia.

November 2021: Elevated liver enzymes, jaundice, kidney impairment, and severe Post-COVID complications.

2022: AIIMS recommends prostatectomy surgery.

2023: Suffered a heart attack, further complicating his Coronary Artery Disease, high blood pressure, and deficiencies in iron and vitamin B12.

Despite clear medical reports from AIIMS Jodhpur indicating critical heart blockages and significant internal bleeding, every plea for bail or parole on medical grounds has been consistently denied.

Voices of Legal Acumen in Support of Bapuji

Prominent legal personalities, including Subramanian Swamy , Ashwini Upadhayay and advocates Kirti Ahuja and A P Singh, have expressed their dismay at the judicial handling of Bapuji’s case, labeling it a gross injustice and a violation of human rights.

The Stark Contrast in Judicial System

The judiciary’s leniency towards other high-profile figures on medical grounds starkly contrasts with the relentless denial of bail for Bapuji, hinting at a discriminatory approach towards the Hindu saint.

The Ayurvedic Advocacy

Sant Shri Asharamji Bapu, a proponent of Ayurveda, has been denied access to the traditional treatment he advocates — a system known for its holistic healing without side effects, particularly beneficial for the elderly and those with multiple health issues.

Nationwide Protests and Peaceful Rallies

The public’s patience has waned, leading to nationwide protests and rallies demanding justice and the release of Sant Shri Asharamji Bapu. These demonstrations, echoing from every corner of the country, are a testament to the widespread belief in his innocence and the demand for his right to Ayurvedic treatment.

Conclusion: A Unified Demand for Justice

The peaceful yet persistent public outcry for Bapuji’s medical bail highlights the perceived injustice and bias against the revered Hindu saint. With his health in peril and a decade of life lost behind bars, the call for his release and access to Ayurvedic treatment grows louder, urging the judiciary, administration & government to finally heed the voice of truth and humanity.
